We report activity of FSRQ B1020+292 (ICRS J2000 coords. R.A.: 10 23 24.046 Dec.: +28 56 50.986 (Gaia Collaboration 2022, VizieR On-line Data Catalog: I/355)) and z=0.667572 ± 0.000404 (Hewett & Wild 2010, MNRAS, 405, 2302). In the CGRaBS catalog (Healey, S. E. et al. 2008, ApJS, 175) the source has R-band brightness of 20.57 mag.
The source showed an increase in R-band brightness from 20.064 mag in early June 2024, to 19.407 mag on December 14, 2025 (on the same day the brightness in the V-band was 19.795 mag).
We present the following magnitudes:
R:
JD 2460468.36218: 20.064 ± 0.010
JD 2461024.56086: 19.407 ± 0.069
V:
JD 2461024.55946: 19.795 ± 0.049
Comparison stars and their magnitudes were chosen from SDSS DR14 catalogue. The PSF-ugriz magnitudes were transferred to Johnson-Cousins V, and R magnitudes using transformations from paper Chonis & Gaskell 2008, AJ, 135, 264.
Comparison stars numbers, R.A. (2000.0), Dec (2000.0), V-band, and R-band magnitude:
1, 155.85193, 28.98720, 15.541 ± 0.033, 14.836 ± 0.046
2, 155.91129, 28.91174, 15.234 ± 0.026, 14.810 ± 0.030
3, 155.82951, 28.93782, 16.969 ± 0.027, 16.502 ± 0.034
4, 155.83529, 28.95989, 18.104 ± 0.039, 17.199 ± 0.071
Photometric measurements were taken with 1.4 m telescope located at Astronomical observatory Vidojevica, of Astronomical observatory Belgrade, Serbia. Data were acquired through Johnson-Cousins V, and R-bands and Andor iKon-L 936 CCD camera.
