We are conducting a long-term monitoring campaign of the optical and near-IR brightness of gamma-ray bright blazars using the SMARTS 1.3m telescope and ANDICAM instrument. We report on a significant brightening in optical bands of the blazar PKS 0208-512. From UT 11 September to UT 30 September we have observed an increase in B-band of 1.3 mag and in R-band of 1.4 mag. We continue to monitor this and other gamma-ray bright blazars on a near-daily basis. Our results are publicly available, and can be found at http://www.astro.yale.edu/smarts/glast. Note that parts of the site are still under construction.
