We observed the classical nova V462 Lupi (TNS Astronomical Transient Report No. 258408, CBET #5570, ATel #17228) with the Submillimeter Array (SMA) on 6 July 2025 UT. Data were processed and imaged with the SMA COMPASS pipeline, and a clear point source was detected at the position of the nova (consistent with the position from GOTO-South; ATel #17237), with a flux density of ~3 mJy at 230 GHz. The SNR of the observation is ~9 and the spatial resolution is 1.9" x 1.4".

Further observations are planned. We thank the SMA staff for scheduling and conducting the observation.
