In order to monitor the rapid decline of the recent eruption of M31N 2008-12a (see ATel #16949 and references therein), a series of 17 180s images of the nova field have been made with the 40-inch
reflector at the Mount Laguna Observatory. Analysis of the combined 3060s image (mean exposure on 2024 December 16.096 UT) reveals that the nova has now reached R = 20.9 +/- 0.1.
