INTEGRAL IBIS upper limit on the GLAST blazar PKS 1502+106 and Detection of Seyfert 1 PG 1501+106

The imager IBIS on board INTEGRAL has observed the sky region containing the GLAST newly detected high energy blazar PKS 1502+106 (ATEL 1650) during a standard pointing performed from MJDs 53760.4 to 53762.4 for a total integration time of 83ks.
IBIS has detected a new high energy source, namely IGR J15039+1022, in the energy range between 18 and 60 keV at a flux level of 1.6 mCrab (i.e. 1.2x10exp-11 erg cm-2 s-1). The source, which is located at R.A.:15h03m53.76s and Dec.:+10d22m08.40s, has been tentatively identified with
the Seyfert 1 galaxy PG1501+106/MRK0841 (NED coordinates R.A.:15h04m01.202s; Dec.:+10d26m16.15s).
The new GLAST blazer PKS 1502+106 is 11 arcmin from IGR J15039+1022 and was not detected at the time of the observation; we derive an 2 sigma upper limit flux of 0.7 mCrab in the range 18-60 keV, assuming a Crab-like spectrum.
Simultaneous observations of the Seyfert 1 with XMM-Newton and BeppoSAX showed a high energy cut-off at around 100 keV (Petrucci et al. 2002, A&A 388, L5-L8). This strongly suggests that this source, despite being 20 times brighter in X-ray than PKS1502+106 when quiescent, is unlikely to emit in the GLAST domain.
