We report the pre-discovery and multi-colour follow-up of the recurrent nova M31N 2008-12a (see ATels #16361, #16362, #16364) using the 0.50-m f/6.8 Lulin-ASIAA Telescope for Transients and Education (LATTE) located at Lulin Observatory (IAU Code D35), Chiayi, Taiwan, China.
All photometric observations listed below were obtained in the B, V, R, I filters between 2023-12-05.54037 UTC and 2023-12-05.67382 UTC.
Together with the undetected upper limit of Shafter et al. (ATel #16362), our pre-discovery constrains the outburst time with an uncertainty of only about 0.33 days.
