I report the spectroscopic observation of PNV J00215475+5231007. This object was discovered by Hideo Nishimura (Shizuoka, Japan) at 12.9 mag (unfiltered) on 2023-01-10.3705 UT. My spectrum was obtained with two 600-second exposures from 2023-01-10.5346 UT, by the fiber-fed integral field spectrograph (KOOLS-IFU; Matsubayashi et al. 2019) mounted on the 3.8 m Seimei telescope (Kurita et al. 2020) at Okayama Observatory of Kyoto University.

As posted to CBAT, the classification of this object as a cataclysmic variable is proposed by V. Andreoli & A. Vagnozzi, by the blue continuum and absorption lines of Balmer lines in their spectrum on 2023-01-10.799 and 2023-01-10.844. My spectrum is dominated by a blue continuum, with strong absorption lines of Hβ and Hγ. Also, weak absorption lines of Hα, Na I, and Mg II are seen. Therefore, my spectrum is consistent with the report on CBAT by V. Andreoli & A. Vagnozzi, confirming their classification as a cataclysmic variable. According to the photometric observations by S. Kiyota, H. Itoh, and the Kyoto U team, this object is likely a WZ Sge-type dwarf nova (vsnet-alert 27305 & 27306).
