We report the non-detection from SGR/eROSITA (Predehl et al. A&A 647, A1, 2021) of the tidal disruption event (TDE) AT2021yte. AT2021yte was first reported as ZTF21acafvhf on 2021 September 12 (TNS Astronomical Transient Report No. 123252 by ALeRCE), and spectroscopically classified as a TDE at a redshift of z=0.053 (TNS Classification Report No. 11136). The source is also detected in radio band by VLA (Adelle et al., ATEL #15160) on 2021 December 21.
AT2021yte was in the Field-of-View of eROSITA during the fourth consecutive all-sky survey (eRASS4) on 2021 October 13, but the source was not detected (total exposure time of ~211s). Assuming an absorbed blackbody model, with temperature fixed at 80 eV and the equivalent neutral hydrogen column density fixed to N_H=1.9x10^21 cm^-2 (HI4PI Collaboration, N. Ben Bekhti, et al., 2016, A&A 594, A116), we derived a 3 (1) sigma upper limit of 1.0E-13 (3.0E-14) erg/s/cm^2 for the observed flux in the 0.2-2.3 keV energy band.
