We report the following classifications from spectroscopic observations with the KAST spectrograph on the Shane telescope obtained on 2021 December 6 UT. The targets were supplied by the Young Supernova Experiment. The classifications were performed with SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024).
Name | IAU Name | RA (J2000) | Dec (J2000) | z | Type | Phase | Notes
PS21mxv | AT2021afkm | 01:27:35.21 | +03:29:21.21 | 0.113 | Ia | +2d | (1)
PS21ndh | AT2021afra | 21:40:25.82 | +08:18:29.29 | 0.0869 | Ia | +6d | (2)
Notes:
When the redshift is given to 2 decimal places, it is derived from the SN spectrum. Otherwise, the redshift is determined from the host galaxy.
(1) We measure a Si II velocity of 9,000 km/s.
(2) We measure a Si II velocity of 9,500 km/s.
