We report on spectral data from 0.47-2.5 microns of V1405 Cassiopeiae (= Nova Cas 2021 = PNV J23244760+6111140) obtained 2021 March 23.13 (UT) with the Aerospace Corporation's 1.0 m telescope using its Visible and Near-Infrared Imaging Spectrograph (VNIRIS). These observations were obtained approximately five days after discovery (CBET 4945). Like the previous spectroscopy in the visible (ATels #14471, #14472, #14476, #14478), the infrared data show strong lines H I and He I and are nearly devoid of emission features from other species. O I lines at 0.7774 and 0.8446 microns that are frequently strong in novae are barely detectable. As with the optical He I lines, strong P-Cygni absorptions are present on the infrared He I lines. For He I 1.0830 and 2.0581 microns, which both have metastable lower levels, the absorption extends to 2800 km/sec and 2000 km/sec from the emission line center, respectively. Approximate IR magnitudes derived from the spectroscopy are J = 6.4, H = 6.1, Kshort = 5.7
