We report the following classification of AT2021arl from spectroscopic observations with the Kast spectrograph on the Shane telescope. The target was supplied by ZTF (as reported by ALeRCE). All observations were made on 2021 Feb 06 UT. The classification was performed with SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024).

Name | IAU Name | RA (J2000) | Dec (J2000) | z | Type | Phase | Notes
ZTF21aaflcai | AT2021arl | 12:23:00.10 | +18:35:36.88 | 0.069 | Ia | +5d | (1)

Notes: When the redshift is given to 2 decimal places, it is derived from the SN spectrum. Otherwise, the redshift is determined from the host galaxy. (1) We measure an Si II 6355 velocity of -10,600 km/s.
