Possible uGMRT detection of ZTF20abtxwfx (AT2020sev)

We observed ZTF20abtxwfx (AT2020sev), a fast-fading red optical transient (Andreoni et al. ATel# 13978) with the upgraded Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (uGMRT) on 2020 September 09.55 UT and
2020 September 20.60 UT in the band 5 (central frequency 1250 MHz). We detect a point source at the position of ZTF20abtxwfx (Andreoni et al. ATel# 13978) with a flux density of 96 +/- 22 uJy and
78 +- 18 uJy on Sep 09.55 UT and Sep 20.60 UT respectively. This source is likely to be the radio counterpart of ZTF20abtxwfx. The map rms is 17 uJy/beam. More observations are planned.
