We report the optical spectroscopic observation of the classical nova PNV J17580848-3005376 (ATel #13872 and vsnet-alert 24441) on 2020 July 17.67 UT. The spectrum was obtained using the HFOSC instrument mounted on the 2m Himalayan Chandra Telescope (HCT) of the Indian Astronomical Observatory, Hanle, in the 380-900 nm wavelength range. The spectrum consists of broad emission lines of hydrogen Balmer, O I and Fe II multiplets, as also reported by Aydi et al. (ATel #13872). The FWHM velocity of H-alpha is 4600 km/s, that of the Fe II lines is 4500 km/s and of O I is 5000 km/s.

We thank the HCT observers for sparing time to carry out the ToO observations.
