We report the spectroscopic classification of ZTF19aamdmcs flagged by a custom filter on the ANTARES alert-broker (https://antares.noao.edu/) as a promising stellar explosive event from the public alert stream of the ZTF survey. The optical spectrum was obtained on 2020 July 9 UT with the Kast double spectrograph on the Shane 3 m telescope at Lick Observatory.
Name | IAU Name | RA (J2000) | Dec (J2000) | z | Type | Phase | Notes
ZTF19aamdmcs | AT2020nef | 15:19:59.14 | +20:42:47.44 | 0.041 | Ia | 6-10 d | (1)
Note: (1) Classification was performed with DASH (Muthukrishna et al. 2019). Redshift was obtained from the SDSS spectroscopic measurement of the host galaxy (Alam et al. 2015). The light curve of the source can be accessed at https://antares.noirlab.edu/loci/ANT2020nzpa.
