We report H-alpha observations of the nova candidate M31N 2020-06a ( PNV J00453223+4223011). The object shows strong H-alpha emission in 3x180 sec H-alpha co-added frames. The observations are carried out with the 2m RCC telescope at Rozhen NAO, Bulgaria, equipped with the FoReRo2 focal reducer. Additional B and R magnitudes are also available:

2020-06-23.0289 UT, Ha = 14.85 ± 0.01 (3x180s)

2020-06-23.0219 UT, R = 17.35 ± 0.01 (3x180s)

2020-06-23.0219 UT, B = 18.17 ± 0.01 (5x180s)

The presence of the strong H-alpha emission for the nova candidates M31N 2020-06a supports the classification of the transient as a nova.
