We report the following classification of AT 2019pmd from spectroscopic observations with the FLOYDS spectrograph on the Faulkes-North 2-m telescope at Haleakala, Hawaii. The target was supplied by ZTF. Observations were made on 2019 September 7 UT. The classification was performed with SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024).
Name | IAU Name | RA (J2000) | Dec (J2000) | z | Type | Phase | Notes
ZTF19abwsecm | 2019pmd | 03:18:23.796 | -01:55:49.72 | 0.022 | Ia | -7 | (1)
Notes:
When the redshift is given to 2 decimal places, it is derived from the SN spectrum. Otherwise, the redshift is determined from the host galaxy.
(1) Appears similar to 2003du approximately 7 days before maximum light. We measure a Si II velocity of 12,100 km/s.
