We report on NIR photometry of the radio source PKS0907+022, cross identified with the high redshift quasar BZBJ0909-0200 (z=1.575). We observed the source in the NIR, finding that on May 21st, 2019 (MJD 2458624.7025) its fluxes corresponded to J = 14.932 +/- 0.04 and H = 14.212 +/- 0.04. The source has been increasing its NIR fluxes in a monotonic trend since MJD 2454888, when its flux in the H band was H = 16.232 +/- 0.02. The source has increased its flux by a factor of 6.2 in this lapse. Our observations a The re carried out with the 2.1m telescope of the Guillermo Haro Observatory operated by the National Institute for Astrophysics, Optics and Electronics (Mexico), equipped with the instrument CANICA a NIR camera. We encourage further multi wavelength coverage.
