We report an optical spectrogram (range 350-880 nm) of AT2019fya (discovered by Koichi Itagaki) that was obtained on 2019 May 25.86 UT with the 2.4 m telescope ( LJT + YFOSC) at the LiJiang Observatory of Yunnan Observatories (YNAO). The spectrum is dominated by the broad P-Cyg Balmer lines and matches type II SNe at some days after the explosion, e.g., SN 1992H at t = +17 days via the comparison tool GELATO (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A&A, 488, 383, https://gelato.tng.iac.es). Given a redshift of 0.0158 for the host galaxy NGC 7549, an expansion velocity of about 12000 km/s can be deduced from the minimum of Ha absorption.
