The optical magnitudes reported in ATel #12631 were affected by an erroneous calibration sequence for PG 1553+113 resulting in an offset in the optical magnitudes. The correct measurements of PG 1553+113 on 5 April 2019 (MJD 58578.108) were R=13.2 and B=14.1. Relative changes and the reported steady increase by 0.4 mag in B and R since MJD 58520.157 remain unaffected, and the current optical emission still is the highest level recorded from PG 1553+113 with ATOM in the last decade.
Since our last report, the observed brightness continued to increase, reaching R=13.1 on 16 April 2019 (MJD 58589.160) and has since slightly decreased (R=13.3 on 26 April 2019 (MJD 58599.041).
