Regarding the recent report on IGR J18175-1530 (Paizis et al., ATEL #1248), this source was also detected RXTE PCA scans of the region. At the time of the detection in September 2007, the source was designated XTE J1817-155.

Based on analysis of PCA bulge scan data from around 02 Sep 2007, the best fitting position was R.A. = 274.402, Dec = -15.508 (J2000), with approximate 95% error radius of 10 arcminutes. This position is consistent with the position reported by the INTEGRAL team.

The fluxes derived from the PCA bulge scans peak at about 6 mCrab (2-10 keV) from 01-11 Sep 2007. After 24 Sep 2007, the source has been undetectable, with typical 2 sigma upper limits of about 1.5 mCrab (2-10 keV).
