We obtained an optical spectrum of the TDE AT2018hco (ATel #12263, TNS Report No. 23352) with the Nordic Optical Telescope (+ALFOSC; range 320-910 nm, 1.6nm resolution) on 2018-12-05.0. The spectrum shows a strong blue continuum and broad emission lines of Halpha and HeI (5876A) as described in ATel #12263, as well as a weak emission line we identify as HeII (4685A). This provides additional evidence to support the classification of AT2018hco as a TDE. The spectrum can be obtained from the IAU Transient Name Server.
