We report the observations of nearby Type IIn supernova SN 2018zd, discovered by Koichi Itagaki and classified by Zhang et al. (ATel #11379), with the X-ray Telescope (XRT) onboard Swift. Swift-XRT observed SN 2018zd between 2018 March 04 to March 11. We do not detect X-ray emission from the SN position. For a total exposure of 18.37 ks, our 3-sigma upper limit on the count rate is 1.03E-3 counts/s. For a Galactic column density of 7.37E20 cm^{-2} towards the SN direction and assuming a 10 keV thermal plasma, this corresponds to an (03.-10 keV) unabsorbed flux of 5.22E-14 erg/cm2/s and an unabsorbed luminosity of ~1.1E39 erg/s (assuming a distance of ~13 Mpc).
