We obtained a spectrum of ASASSN-18dk/AT 2018xy (ATEL #11343) on 2018 February 26.9 UT with the RSS mounted on the South African Large Telescope (SALT) at the South African Astronomical Observatory, under the SALT Large Programme on transients (2016-2-LSP-001). Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find reasonable fits to post-peak Type Ia supernovae at the redshift of the host galaxy (z~0.03; The 2MASS Redshift Survey via NED). The spectrum is available on the Transient Name Server.
