GMRT observations of Type II supernova SN 2018gj

We observed the Type II supernova SN 2018gj (Kilpatrick et al. ATel# 11172), with the Giant Metrewave Radio Telescope (GMRT) on 2018 Jan 26.24 UT in the 1390 MHz band. We do not detect any radio emission at the supernova position RA, Decl (J2000): 16:32:02.4, +78:12:41.13. The 3-sigma upper limit of the flux density at the supernova position is 105 uJy.
