We observed the broad-lined type Ic supernovae SN 2018ie (discovered by the Lick Supernova Survey; classified by Lin et al. ATel #11205) and SN 2018if (discovered by the Tsinghua-NAOC Transient Survey; classified by Zhang et al. ATel #11213) with the Karl G. Jansky Very Large Array (VLA). Our observations started at 2018 January 25.44 UT for a total duration of about 1.3 hr, and were carried out at a central frequency of 6.2 GHz. No significant radio emission was detected at the locations of the supernovae, down to a 3-sigma limit of about 30 uJy. We thank the NRAO staff for carrying out these observations.
