We obtained an optical spectrum (range 360-840 nm) of SN 2017hqf(PTSS-17ygv), discovered by the PMO-Tsinghua Supernova Survey (PTSS, http://www.cneost.org/ptss/ ), on UT 2017 Nov. 16.85 with the Xinglong 2.16 m telescope (BFOSC) at Xinglong Observatory of NAOC. The spectrum is consistent with that of a type Ia supernova at about two weeks after the maximum light. Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) shows that it matches with SN 1995D at t = +14 days from the maximum light. After correcting for a redshift of 0.047 (from SNID fit) an expansion velocity of about 9800 km/s can be derived from the absorption minimum of Si II 635.5 nm.
