SN 2017gax (Gaia 17cgy) is a SN Ib/c located in galaxy NGC 1762 (ATEL #10638 #10640) which we observed using the 1.0m telescope at CTIO in the V band with two 90 sec exposures. Using the APASS catalogue for photometric calibration we obtain V=16.1 +/-0.1 mag on 2017-11-09 02:04 UT (MJD=58066.086). SN 2017hjw (Gaia 17crm) is a SN 1a located in galaxy UGC 3245 (ATEL#10863) which we observed using the 2.0m at Hakeakala Observatory in the V band with two 60 sec exposures. Using the APASS catalogue for photometric calibration we obtain V=16.2 +/-0.1 mag on 2017-11-09 11:33 UT (MJD=58066.481). We thank the Faukes Telescope Project for access to the LCOGT network.
