On Sept. 08 2017, classification spectra were obtained for SN candidates AT 2017gqd and AT 2017gqe, with the 6.5-m Baade + IMACS(range 390-800nm; resolution: 5 Angstrom). We classify them as low-luminosity Type Ia Supernova and normal one at 2-3 weeks after the maximum light, respectively, by cross-correlating with a library of supernova spectra (SNID, Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024). Details of our identifications are reported as below:

Survey Name | IAU Name | Discovery (UT) | Discovery mag | Observation (UT) | Redshift | Type | Phase | Notes
Gaia17cgk | SN 2017gqd | 2017-09-06 05:51:21 | 18.77 | 2017-09-08 09:39:10 | 0.061 |91bg-like Ia | +19 | (1)
ASASSN-17lx | SN 2017gqe | 2017-09-04 09:21:36 | 16.7 | 2017-09-08 09:13:32 | 0.03352 |Ia | +14 | (2)

(1) The spectrum resembles that of a post-maximum type Ia SN 1991bg-like supernova with a redshift of 0.061 from SNID.
(2) The spectrum resembles that of a post-maximum type Ia-norm SN 1995D supernova.
