We report the following classifications of optical transients from spectroscopic observations with the Echellette Spectrograph and Imager (ESI) on the Keck II telescope. Targets were supplied by PSST and ATLAS. All observations were made on 2017 May 20 UT. Classifications were performed with SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024).

Name | IAU Name | RA (J2000) | Dec (J2000) | z | Type | Phase | Notes
PS17dbd | AT2017eaa | 11:28:17.92 | +26:58:37.0 | 0.04 | Ia | +0 | ATLAS17foe | AT2017edy | 12:04:53.59 | +06:47:50.7 | 0.055 | Ia | -7 | (1)

Notes: When the redshift is given to 2 decimal places, it is derived from the SN spectrum. Otherwise, the redshift is determined from the host galaxy. (1) The minimum of the Si II 6355 line is blueshifted by -12,100 km/s.
