Spectroscopic Classification of SN 2017dka as a Type II Supernova

We obtained an optical spectrum (range 350-870 nm) of SN 2017dka,discovered by Jaroslaw Grzegorzek,
on UT May 02.81 2017 with the 2.4 m telescope (LJT + YFOSC) at LiJiang Gaomeigu Observatory of Yunnan Observatories (YNAO). The spectrum is consistent with that of a young type II supernova, showing a blue continum and weak, broad Ha emission.
