MASTER OT J004056.15+405819.1 detection - possible Nova in M31
MASTER-Tavrida auto-detection system ( Lipunov et al., "MASTER Global Robotic Net", Advances in Astronomy, 2010, 30L ) discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 00h 40m 56s.15 , +40d 58m 19s.1(+-1") on 2017-04-13 01:17:02.572UT.
The OT unfiltered magnitude is 17.6m (mlim=18.0).
The OT is seen in 6 images on 13th of April , and on 6 images on 2017-04-14 01:09:23-01:24:29UT.
There is no minor planet at this place.
There is XMM-OM source with 4" offset.
We have reference images on 2017-02-06 15:33:18UT with mlim=19.0 (MASTER-Kislovodsk), on 2017-03-31 18:00:33UT with mlim=18.5(MASTER-Tavrida)
