We report the classification of Gaia17apq and Gaia17apv (SN2017cao and SN2017cat), discovered by the Gaia ESA survey.
The observations were performed on UT 2017-03-16 with the Double Spectrograph (DBSP; range 350-1000nm, spectral resolution R~4000) on Palomar 200-inch (P200) telescope.
Classifications were performed using SNID (Blondin and Tonry 2007) and Superfit (Howell et al. 2005). The classification spectra
can be obtained from the IAU Transient Name Server.
Name | IAU Name | RA (J2000) | Dec (J2000) | redshift | Discovery (UT) | Discovery mag | Type | Phase | Notes

(1) Good fit template from SuperFit is SN1993J.
(2) Best fit template from SNID is SN2005cs.
