Spectra (range 350-760 nm) of supernova AT2017cfb (=ATLAS17cof)
was obtained on Mar 17, 2017 UT with
the F. L. Whipple Observatory 1.5-m telescope (+ FAST).
Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the
"Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007,
Ap.J. 666, 1024) shows AT2017cfb to be a normal type Ia Supernova
about 1 week before maximum brightness.
The minimum of the SiII 6355 line is at a velocity of 4800 km/s.
