PESSTO, the Public ESO Spectroscopic Survey for Transient Objects (see Smartt et al. 2015, A&A, 579, 40 http://www.pessto.org ), reports the following supernova classifications. The targets were supplied by the ATLAS survey, see Tonry et al. (2011, PASP, 123, 58) and Tonry et al. (ATel #8680), and by MASTER (see http://observ.pereplet.ru/ ; Lipunov et al. 2004, AN, 325, 580). The observations were performed on the ESO New Technology Telescope at La Silla on 2017 February 25, using EFOSC2 and Grism 13 (3985-9315A, 18A resolution). The classifications were done with SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) and GELATO (Harutyunyan et al., 2008, A&A, 488, 383). The classification spectra and additional details can be obtained from http://www.pessto.org (via WISeREP) and the IAU Transient Name Server.

(1) Blue continuum. Redshift from SDSS.

(2) Blue continuum with Hbeta, Hgamma, Hdelta in absorption at z=0.

(3) Best SNID fit to the normal SN Ia 2006gr at -5 d. Many other good fits to normal SNe Ia at pre-maximum phases. Also discovered by ASASSN (ATel #10108).

(4) Best SNID fit to the normal SN Ia 2007af at -6 d. Many other good fits to normal SNe Ia at pre-maximum phases.

(5) Best SNID fit to the normal SN Ia 1996C at +5 d. Many other good fits to SNe Ia at post-maximum phases.
