We obtained an optical spectrum (range 340-880 nm) of SN 2017bke (=PTSS-17hcz),discovered by the PMO-Tsinghua Supernova Survey (PTSS, http://www.cneost.org/ptss/ ), on UT Feb.25.7 2017 with the 2.4 m telescope (LJT + YFOSC) at LiJiang Gaomeigu Observatory of Yunnan Observatories (YNAO). The spectrum is consistent with that of a type Ia supernova. Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024) shows that it matches with SN 1999em at t = -7 days from the maximum light. After correcting for a redshift of
0.047 for its host galaxy APMUKS(BJ) B102145.77-032803.1 (from the SNID fit), an expansion velocity of about 14900 km/s can be derived from the absorption minimum of Si II 635.5 nm line. The classification spectrum is also posted on IAU Transient Name Sever: http://wis-tns.weizmann.ac.il/object/2017bke
