We obtained spectra of ASASSN-17cu/AT 2017bgp and ASASSN-17cv/AT 2017bgt (ATel #10113) on 2017 February 23.4 and 23.6 UT, respectively, with the robotic FLOYDS instrument mounted on the Las Cumbres Observatory 2-meter telescope on Haleakala, Hawai'i.

Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 1190), we find good fits between ASASSN-17cu/AT 2017bgp and several normal Type Ia supernovae in the week before maximum light at the redshift of the proposed host galaxy (z=0.047; SDSS DR4, via NED).

Using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find a good fit between ASASSN-17cv/AT 2017bgt and an AGN at redshift z=0.064.

The spectra are available on the Transient Name Server for both AT 2017bgp and AT 2017bgt.
