We report optical spectroscopy of supernova candidate DES14C3rap, discovered by the Dark Energy Survey. The spectrum (350-750 nm) was obtained using Goodman Spectrograph on the 4.1m SOAR telescope at Cerro Pachón on Dec 29, 2014. Object classification was performed using SNID (Blondin & Tonry, 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024).
