We obtained an optical spectrum (range 350-830 nm) of PSN J08492024+3642572 on UT 2014 Dec.14.76 with the 2.4-m telescope (+YFOSC) at LiJiang Gaomeigu Station of Yunnan Observatories. The spectrum is similar to that of a type-IIP supernova around the maximum light. Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the comparison tool Gelato (Harutyunyan et al. 2008, A&A, 488, 383) shows that it matches with SN 2006bp at t = +2 days. Given a redshift of 0.025 for the host galaxy NGC 2668, an expansion velocity of about 10400 km/s can be deduced from the H-alpha absorption minimum.
