MASTER OT J065140.54+480441.6 - new bright CV
MASTER-Tunka auto-detection system discovered OT source at (RA, Dec) = 06h 51m 40.54s +48d 04m 41.6s on 2014-02-05.56273 UT. The OT unfiltered magnitude is 15.9m (limit 18.2m). The OT is seen in 6 images. There is no minor planet at this place. We have reference image without OT on 2011-04-21.61278 UT with unfiltered magnitude limit 19.7m.
There is nothing at this position in any catalogs. This area of sky in Auriga is not covered by SDSS. Object is not visible on the digitized Palomar plates and on their combination to limiting magnitude ~22.5. Color-combined (2xBRIR) finder chart is uploaded to http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/J065140+480441-BRIR5x5.jpg (2x zoom). No previous outbursts were detected by Palomar/NEAT and Catalina Sky Survey.
Based on the outburst amplitude (more than 6m), MASTER OT J065140.54+480441.6 is most likely a dwarf nova of WZ Sge (UGWZ) type in superoutburst. Follow up observations are required. The discovery and reference images are available at: http://master.sai.msu.ru/static/OT/065140.54480441.6.png
