We report that a glitch in the rotation frequency of PSR J0835-4510 observed at the Hartebeesthoek Radio Astronomy Observatory (HartRAO), South Africa. Preliminary analysis indicates a magnitude [Delta(nu)]/nu = +3.10 E-6, with the "glitch" occurring on (MJD 56555.871) Sep. 20.871 UT. Nine hours of observations, commencing 5.3 hours after the event, indicate an accompanying fractional increase in the spin-down rate of +0.148 +/- 0.001. Observing continues using the 26 m HartRAO antenna in order to parametrize the post-glitch recovery.
