The Nearby Supernova Factory reports that a spectrum (range 320-1000 nm) of a supernova in IC 1496 (Weidong Li, private communication), obtained June 21.4 UT with the Supernova Integral Field Spectrograph on the University of Hawaii 2.2-m telescope, shows it to be a Type Ia SN approximately one month past maximum light. The spectrum is similar to those of SNe 2000cx at +28d (Li et al. 2001 PASP 113, 1178), 1999ac at +28 d (Garavini et al., ApJ accepted), and 1992A at +24 d (Kirshner et al. 1993 ApJ 415, 589).
