Avishay Gal-Yam and George Djorgovski report that a spectrum obtained by Djorgovski with the DBSP spectrograph mounted on the Hale 200" telescope at Palomar Observatory, on May 4 2005 UT, shows this event is a young type II SN. Prominent broad Halpha with a P-cygni profile is superposed on a blue
continuum.
