Following the announcement of the fading of TYC 2505-672-1 in ATel #4784, I looked at the archive plates of the Digitized First Byurakan Survey (http://byurakan.phys.uniroma1.it). The star is present in four plates, one taken on 1970-03-27 (n.0194) and the other three on March-April 1977 (n.1745, n.1777, n.1783): in all of them the star is saturated and roughly of mag 10, in agreement with the Tycho2 catalogue value.
