Low dispersion optical spectra (range 470-670 nm) obtained June 21.5 UT with the 2.4m Hiltner telescope (+ Modspec) at MDM Observatory of PSN J16180497+2133040 in UGC 10321 (posted on the Central Bureau's TOCP webpage) show it to be a type-Ia supernova. Cross-correlation with a library of supernova spectra using the "Supernova Identification" code (SNID; Blondin and Tonry 2007, Ap.J. 666, 1024) shows matches with normal Type Ia events a few days before maximum light. Using a SNID estimated redshift of z = 0.026, the velocity of the Si II 635.5-nm feature is approximately 13200 km/s.
