The MASTER auto-detection system at Tunka-Baykal detected a new transient source as the SN candidate at the position (R.A., Dec) = 16h 18m 30.77s , +53d 24m 31s.7, (J2000) with a typical uncertainty of 0.5" ( offset 27.4E 7.6N from PGC2440228 galaxy) at 2011-02-27 19:10:51 (UT). The OT is seen at 9 images.
There is no minor planet and any object brighter 21 mag in SDSS at this place.
The unfiltered magnitude is about 19.0 +-0.4 ( exposition 180s).
The spectral observations are needed.
