Radio observations of Type IIn supernova SN 2008ip

We observed the Type IIn SN 2008ip (CBET 1641) with the Very Large Array
on 2009 Jan 5.34 and 5.37 UT at frequencies of 8.46 and 22.5 GHz,
respectively. No radio counterpart is detected at either frequency. We
place 3-sigma upper limits, on the radio emission at the optical SN
position, of 0.096 mJy (8.46 GHz) and 0.222 mJy (22.5 GHz), respectively.
