We have observed the newly discovered galactic transient SWIFT J1756.9-2508 (ATel #1105) with the Swift X-ray Telescope (XRT). We derive a position for the source of:
RA/Dec (2000) = 17h 56m 57s.20 -25d 06m 26s.28
RA/Dec (2000) = 269.2383 -25.1073
with an error radius of 9 arc seconds.
Analysis of Swift XRT and BAT spectral data is ongoing and will be reported in a subsequent telegram.
