Following the discovery and classification of SN 2017egm (Gaia17biu) as an unusually nearby SLSN-I (ATel #10442; ATEL #10498), we have triggered the Hubble Space Telescope program, "Far UV Spectroscopy of Superluminous Supernovae" (GO-14674; PI=Quimby). HST is currently scheduled to obtain FUV spectra of SN 2017egm with COS starting around 2017 June 23 00:44 UT and NUV spectra with STIS starting around 2017 June 23 07:03 UT. We encourage simultaneous follow-up observations at all wavelengths.

We thank the STScI staff, especially Crystal Mannfolk, Nolan Walborn, and David Sahnow for implementing this disruptive HST trigger.
