We obtained a spectrum of AT 2016hmo/ASASSN-16mc (ATel #9671) on 2016 November 1.4 UT with the robotic FLOYDS instrument mounted on the Las Cumbres Observatory 2-meter telescope in Siding Spring, Australia under our TDE vetting program (PI: Arcavi). Using SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find good fits to several Type Ia supernovae, both normal and 91T-like, at the redshift of the proposed host galaxy (z=0.019; Jones et al. 2009, "The 6dF Galaxy Survey Data Release 3," via NED). The spectrum is relatively red, probably due to significant host extinction. The spectrum is available on the Transient Name Server.
