We obtained a spectrum of SN 2016bhr (ATel #8857; a.k.a. PS16bho & ATLAS16aiq) on 2016 April 3.5 UT with the robotic FLOYDS instrument mounted on the LCOGT 2-meter telescope on Haleakala, Hawai'i. Using Superfit (Howell et al. 2005, ApJ, 634, 119) and SNID (Blondin & Tonry 2007, ApJ, 666, 1024), we find a good fit to the Type IIb SN 1993J 34 days after explosion at a redshift of z=0.015, which is consistent with that of the proposed host galaxy (z=0.014; Ramella et al. 1995, AJ, 109, 1458, via NED). This is in contrast to the Type Ia classification in ATel #8900, although we also find reasonable matches to the peculiar Type Ia SNe 2002cx and 2005hk. The spectrum and SNID fit to SN 1993J are available on the Transient Name Server.
